Since 7:30 I saw there was few table of people leaving but they stop calling in people. at 7:50 there was only me and other couple waiting but we are sure there were more than 6+ people left the store. They just came out and apologize and said it was last call and tell us to come tomorrow again! We feel like they dont want more customer to come in and make them close late!

Foreign tourists should double (if not triple) check the bill.To be fair, the monjayaki was really good and the prices were average, so why a bad review? Because we were extra charged of about 1000 JPY and did not know why. We asked to check the bill, as it was not correct, and they change it. Unfortunately, even the second total was higher than the prices listed on their menu. Furthermore, the price of the beer is different on the English menu (higher than the one on the Japanese one).Eventually we were finally able to pay what we had to, but we got no explanation at all.My Japanese is not that fluent, but I do understand menus and what's written in Kanji. That's why I suggest that foreign tourists should check very well the bill, if they want to enjoy their monjayaki. As for me, I will probably go to another restaurant, next time.

We visited this restaurant because of the good reviews. We went at off-peak time so have been served really well. Kids love frying their own noodles (with friendly staff's help) and we love our okinomiyaki. Staff gave kids fridge magnet as a souvenir when we left overall a great & fun experience.

I ordered seafood Monja, cheese Monja with fish egg(Montaiko?)and seafood Yaki Udon. Everything was tasty, but since cheese Monjas was a little bit salty for me, I prefer seafood Monja. Staff was friendly and the restaurant itself had nice cozy atmosphere. I will come again if I ever come back to Tokyo.
When I visited Asakusa in the past, I went to another monza house because there was a lot of Hyojung Monja atmosphere. It was delicious and it was wonderful to eat it by self-min. I think a lot of Japanese middle and high school students come too! It takes a long time to make. Okonomiyaki is illuminated. Monza is the best!
